Jason VonWachenfeldt is the Assistant Dean of Faculty at The Lawrenceville School (Lawrenceville, NJ). He has been there since 2014, where he has also served as co-chair of the Interdisciplinary Studies Program and Chair of the Religion and Philosophy Department. He still teaches in the Religion and Philosophy department on subjects ranging from Introduction to Religious Studies to various courses in global ethics, western philosophies, and Tibetan Buddhist philosophies. In 2021 he published his first book Religious Epistemology Through Schillebeeckx and Tibetan Buddhism (T&T Clark), which examines the influence of modernism on the religious epistemologies of the Catholic theologian Edward Schillebeeckx and the Tibetan Buddhist philosopher Gendun Chopel as a source for comparative interreligious and philosophical understanding.
